Like I said in a recent post, I have been wanting a Mac for what seems like forever now. These past couple of days I have been hearing/reading about people who have had some problems with Macs. Most recently, one that quit in less than 24 hours. Now, I'm not so sure about getting one anymore. I haven't really made up my mind on if I want to go through with getting one with all of these problems surrounding Macs lately.

It's been a while since I've actually written anything worth reading. Actually, I don't think I've ever written anything worth reading. I hated English class in high school so I'm not very good at putting things together and I'm not really good at wording things which means there isn't anything that's very thought provoking to say. Also, there isn't any reason to write up a post on something that someone else has already done and I most likely have the same views or opinions as them. Or close enough that I don't need to come up with a post. I'm also not really sure when I should start a new paragraph so I just start a new one when I think I should or just when I feel like it.

Eh, let's get on to some more boring things to talk about shall we?! I can't believe that Christmas is actually in four days. It's crazy how this year has flown by. It's kind of scary really. I don't want it to fly by this quick. Where has this year gone? Where has the time gone? Maybe come 2008 it will slow down a bit and won't be so crazy. I'm just happy that I'm not sick this Christmas like I was last year. I'm sure after I stuff myself I will be sick considering Bryan and I have to eat four times in a span of two days. We should have a lot of leftovers though which is great because I love leftovers. Everything is better the next day. Well, almost everything.

Bryan and I won't be exchanging Christmas presents on Christmas. We will be exchanging presents in February since we will be getting our tax refund in. Well, that is what we planned on doing. Bryan surprised me and got me the re-print issue of the very first Playboy magazine with Marilyn Monroe on the cover. He said he is still planning on getting me something even though he gave me that. He is too sweet. I'm planning on getting him a couple of things as well. We can't spend too much money though since we don't have a lot right now.

I know I said that maybe come 2008 everything will slow down a bit but I just can't until August gets here. I'm planning on get me a MacBook which is something that I've always wanted and I will finally be able to get me one. I told Bryan that I was going to sleep with it so know one else could touch it, lol. That is how bad I want one. Sometimes I feel like I shouldn't get one because that means that will be the third laptop that I've had in a little over a year.

On Vox: Windows Vista/Windows Xp

As I mentioned in a few posts back, I just recently bought a new laptop. As you all know, the newer computers come with Windows Vista installed on it instead of Windows Xp. I, along with a few other people, hate Vista. It actually takes up around 25% space so I heard. It is really slow on loading things. Even putting things in the Recycle Bin. Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone knew if there was a way to get Windows Xp back on my computer even though it came installed with Vista. I would appreciate all of the help I can get on this. I'm really fed up with Vista. I want Xp again.

I know I said I would update more often now that I am not working but I just really haven't had anything interesting to talk about. I'm sure it doesn't matter though. I could just ramble on about nothing but no one will notice since I don't think that many people come to my little place on the web much anymore, lol. It's cool though, I'm still going to ramble on about things that no one really gives a crap about. Not much has been going on. Like I said in a short post a couple of days ago. Ok, more like a week or so ago, lol. Anyways, we got a Wii finally. We spent around $500+ in one week on just stuff for the Wii. We bought the Wii of course but we also bought five games, an extra remote and an extra nunchuck. I love it. I swear it feels like a workout playing some of those games, lol. Eh, not too much else has happened. Oh, I get to see Hinder, Papa Roach and 12 Stones in concert on November 3rd. I'm pretty excited about that.

Finally. I am a proud owner of a Nintendo Wii. Bryan and I found the last Wii. It only took us two days, six Walmarts, a Target, two Game Stops, and a Toys R Us. We called all over the place. Everyone was sold out expect Toys R Us and we got the last one they had. We walked in and the cashier told us that we just got the last one and beat out some lady that was on the phone asking them to hold it. First come first serve. They sold four Wii's in the first eighteen minutes that they were open. I didn't know Wii's were that popular that every single place would be sold out of them. I'm so happy that we got there when we did or else we wouldn't have walked away with it. I'm so happy, haha. We played boxing before Bryan had to go back to work. I kicked his ass, lol. Anyways, just thought I would share the good news with everyone. =]

As you can see, I've changed the name of my Vox from lovey-dovey to ijessica. I was getting tired of the other one and wanted something new. I love that we are able to keep everything when we change names. If I read correctly, then I will be able to go back to lovey-dovey if I want to. Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know about the new changes. =]

Not Around Much

I haven't been around much and it is mainly because of my job. I've been working 13 hours a day every single day. I will be able to write more often now that my job has ended. Only because farming is over with right now. Anyways, not much has been going on since I haven't been able to do much these days. I have bought a ton of new stuff that I haven't let anyone know about since I was too busy playing around with my new toys. I bought a new laptop around a month ago. I love it. Bryan has my old one now since he sold his for parts. I also bought a new camera(in all silver) yesterday. I love it. I also bought a Moto Q back in August but I hated it. I ended up buying the new LG in Apple Green. I've bought three new perfumes in the past two weeks. I can't help myself though. I hate to smell the same every day. I've also gotten three new tattoos in the past three weeks. I'm up to five now. I have yet to take pictures of them yet but I will soon. Anyways, I'm hungry. I haven't had much to eat today. I think Bryan is taking me to eat pizza tonight. =] So, I'm going to cut this off now.

ETA: I never really know how to end my post. Do I say bye? That's all for now? Or just nothing at all?

I have Windows Vista on my new laptop which runs the newest version of Windows Media Player. It looks and runs just like Windows Media Player 11 which I hate. I was very fond of version 10 which I can't have because of Vista. Dumb reason. Anyways, I'm tired of using this version of WMP. What does everyone else use? I need a new media player. Help me please. =]

The Day With The Love Songs

This past Sunday when I had the day off from work I was sitting at my computer trying to come up with some songs that I could download since I had barely any on my new laptop. For some strange reason I was in the mood for love/slow songs. I couldn’t think of any at the time but came home from work a couple of days ago after talking about it with a co-worker of mine. I googled love/slow songs and got a good list of songs that I love and haven’t heard in such a long time. I decided to download pretty much all of them but I still have a few more that I want to download. I made a mix and have been listening to it ever since. I’m a sucker for those love songs though. Another Day Off

I got another day off today. I slept in but not too late. I was awake by ten this morning. Only because I had to call up to work and see if they needed me to come in today. We are slow on Sunday’s and so they said I could go ahead and catch up on some rest or whatever else I needed to do. Instead of resting I am on here. I am in love with Rihanna’s song Rehab. If you haven’t heard it yet then you should go to her site and listen to it. It’s really good. I love her whole cd and there are only a couple of songs that I am able to download so I’m thinking of going to buy her cd tonight. I’m also thinking of buying Kelly Clarkson’s new cd too. I bought me a new purse yesterday. I’ve been needing a new one for a long time now. I’m glad I actually found one that I like. Haha. I’m so picky when it comes to purses. In case no one noticed, I did an edit on my last post about my tattoos. There isn’t really much to update you guys on. I’ve caught up with all of my dailies. I have a headache and I’m a little tired so I think I might go lay down.

A Longer Break Than Expected

I have been meaning to write in this thing for a while now but I just haven’t really had the chance. When I do have the chance I am so darn tired. I have the day off today which is nice. I got to sleep in a little longer than I usually get to. It was nice not having to get up early. I finally got around to sending off the package for Ana, Joe and baby Sofia. I’ve been meaning to do that for a while now too but have been putting it off because I really hadn’t had the time but it’s off now. I bought me a new phone about three weeks ago. The Moto Q. I took it back yesterday. I didn’t like it at all. I ended up getting the phone that I have been wanting for a while now. The new LG in green. No one I know has that color. Haha. Anyways, I’m still loving work. It’s getting slower though since it has been raining a lot lately and the farmers aren’t able to cut. But, enough about that because I’m sure no one really cares. lol. Not much else is going on with me since I work everyday. Oh, I got two new tattoos about a week ago. I haven’t taken any pictures yet but once they heal completely, which shouldn’t be too much longer, I will take a few and post them so everyone can see.

ETA(Sept. 8th 9:16pm)- I forgot to mention where the tattoos are and what they are since I don’t have any pictures of them at the moment. I got a four leaf clover with three pink flowers around it on my left hip. I also got a chinese symbol meaning happiness on the back of my neck.

Crazy And Hectic

As you know or may not know, I started work last week. It's been crazy and hectic but it hasn't even really been that busy yet. I got the day off today which is nice because soon I won't be getting too many days off since it will be so busy. I like my job which surprised me a little. ~~I've emailed everyone on my blogroll letting you know that I've changed sites.~~[<--This is for my website.] I don't really have much to say. I'm a little tired. I've had a horrible headache for the past week. I woke up this morning and my leg was killing me. I haven't a good day. I'm thinking of taking a nap but I'm afraid if I do then I will wake up and won't be able to sleep for the rest of the night. I need sleep. I haven't been getting much of it lately. ~~Anyway, Teresa said she was making up a new theme for me so expect something new soon. I have decided to not do PayPerPost anymore. I wrote my first post around the 16th or the 17th. They still haven’t approved that post. I didn’t realize that it would take so long to approve a post. I deleted the two posts that I’ve done. I was going to delete my account but there is no way to delete it. I’m not sure why though. Anyways, enough about PPP because they piss me off. But, lately I’ve heard a few people complain about them so it’s not just me. Haha.

Well, Bryan and I went to Monroe to see my parents yesterday. What we didn’t know was that my cousin and her husband’s graduation was last night. We ended up going to that. Afterwards we all went to eat at Barnhill’s. It wasn’t the best place but they did have the best mashed potatoes and gravy. lol. Not much after that happened. Haha.

Anyways, I don’t have much else to talk about. Oh, I’ve been seeing the purses that Teresa has been getting from Etsy. I love them. I want some now. Haha. I’ve been looking for a few of hers but I can’t seem to find them. lol. I guess I will keep looking because I need a new purse really bad.

Not only do I have a new look on my desktop(photo in previous entry) but I have a new look here. I have been looking a for simple layout like this for a really long time. I think since I started seeing Kristin's(sleepykristin) simple layouts. Which I loved. I have finally found one that I love. It's not flashy and all over the place which is something I cant' stand seeing. It's simple which is way easier on the eyes. Anyways, just thought that I would make it known that the journal has a new look but I'm sure you already noticed that. Haha.

On Vox: I'm Getting Married

Yes. It's true. I'm getting married. Bryan proposed to me the night of my birthday. It wasn't what you would say a 'romantic' proposal but it will be a memorable one. To us at least. He made me cry of course. Anyways, this is how it all went down. I was sitting in the room on my laptop like I always am. He's looking around in the closet and finds his old ring box. He bought a silver ring for him off Ebay. He never wears it though. Anyways, he found that old box and he put the box right next to me on my desk. I was so excited when I saw this box thinking it would be my ring. I opened. Nope. It was that silver ring he had bought himself a while back. I was so upset. I didn't find it funny at all since he knew how much I wanted that ring and for him to ask me. So, the highly emotional girl that I am, I start to cry. I was so upset with him for doing that. He apologized. He left the room and went into the computer room. I went back to my business on the internet(I was reading posts here on Vox). He comes back in with the same box and hands it to me. I throw it back at him and tell him that I'm not falling for that anymore and I don't want it. I turn back to my computer and he tells me to turn around. He had the box open and there IT was. My ring. Or should I say rings since it was a set. Anyways, he proposed. I cried. I was so happy. It is something that I will never forget. I told my parents yesterday when we went to eat with them. They were extremely happy for me and they loved the ring. Haha. Anyways, I haven't told many people yet but word travels fast around this town so I'm sure the few people that we told will tell everyone. I don't care though. I've been going around holding my hand out showing the ring to anyone and everyone I see. Haha. So, there you have it. That's how it happened. =]

Going By So Fast

Bryan and I got up pretty early today. It's been a while since I got up that early. I need to start getting up early and going to bed early since I will be starting my job in a couple weeks. I have gotten so used to go to bed late and sleeping late. It needs to stop. Quick. Haha.

Anyways, we got up early to go to Vicksburg. I went mainly because they have a purse store in the mall. Or at least they did. Apparently the shut it down sometime recently because a friend of mine just went not too long ago. It sucks too because I need a new purse. We walked around the mall for a little bit.

We played a couple of games and then took some pictures in the photobooths that they had there. We didn't really have any place in particular to go to since we really only went for a purse which I didn't get. We went to Garfield's to eat. I have been wanting to take Bryan to eat there for a while now since he has never been. It was so good.

I took a few pictures while we were there. We also went to Walmart and walked around for a bit. We didn't buy anything there either. I'm not really sure why we went in. Haha. We also went to Office Max. I found the new laptop I want. Bryan wants the same one. Haha. We have to wait until we start working to get them though.

After we left Office Max and Walmart we decided to head on over the the outlet mall. I had been wanting to go to Claire's because they usually have cute purses but they didn't have any cute ones this time. I found this really cute cell phone holder but I forgot to go back and get it. LOL. I got me three cute phone charms though.

We also went to Rue 21. I think that is my favorite new store. That had so much cute stuff in there. When we start working we are going back and doing some serious shopping. Haha. They had a really good sale today but we passed on it because we didn't have that much money to spend. Soon we will though. Haha.

Well, this is getting a little longer than I had expected it to be. If you've read this far then thank you. Haha. I'm sure I'm boring you now. Oh, my birthday is coming up soon. Eight days to be exact. I'm so excited. I haven't exactly figured out what I'm doing yet. I'm sure I will have fun since I will be turning twenty one. I can't believe it's July already. Ok. Goodnight.
